Any Business needs to have customers. And to get customers, you first have to make them aware of what you are offering.

Making people aware of what you have to offer and convincing them of its value is Marketing.

We are all marketers, and marketing is all around us.

If you need to persuade someone to take action, you’re doing marketing. If you’re looking for votes or a promotion, you’re marketing. If you’re writing on your website or posting to your social media profile, you’re marketing.

We are constantly marketed to for a piece of our attention, our trust, and our action. It helps to know what theses marketers are doing right and wrong.

Marketing drives our culture. Marketers drive the links we click on, the shows we watch, and the people we vote for.

You have lots of marketing experience. You have been the target of marketing to since you were a child. You know good advertising from bad as far as what appeals to you and grabs your attention. And you know how to treat customers because you are one. You have been the customer in every transaction, product and service experience in your life.

Funneling and converting marketing awareness into purchases is what Sales are all about. Creating an identity and customer loyalty is Branding.

A business needs to focus on Marketing and Sales. It needs to focus on understanding customers and what their needs are. Understanding customer needs is half the job of fulfilling them. Make something people want.

Deliver on your promises and exceed expectations.

What problem are you solving? What benefit are you providing, and is it relevant to the potential customer? How can you make your offering better suited to customer needs? Can you charge a premium for it based on the perceived value?

Analyze feedback from customers on how they use your product early, often, and always. An external focus on delivering customer satisfaction is crucial. It takes sustained continuous discipline to enact.

You have to deliver on your promises and meet or exceed their expectations.

There are so many incredible new ways to engage potential customers. You can market your offerings. through the web, social media, and mobile platforms. You can create awareness campaigns that target and reach audiences on a global scale. And you can measure your messaging’s effectiveness for little cost. We will go through a lot of tips on platforms and practice.
